Secondly, the staff were fantastic - friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with any requests. They really made me feel welcome. Finally, the basic amenities provided were excellent. The room was spotlessly clean and looked like it had been recently refurbished. The attention to detail was impressive, right down to the personal flat-screen TV. Plus, the breakfast served in the local gas station restaurant was a unique and immersive experience, truly showcasing the heart of the town.

We had an amazing new year's experience at a guesthouse in a lesser-known location in Iceland. the guesthouse was in excellent condition, with spacious rooms and a well-equipped shared kitchen. the key location facts, such as ample parking space and good wifi connection, were very convenient.

Although the breakfast provided at a nearby restaurant was amazing, we would have appreciated an option to choose cereal instead of cold meat and salad. there were no clear instructions on how to proceed without the host's presence, leaving us to orient ourselves or call for help.
